Refund and Cancellation Policy

At What The Hack, we strive to deliver an exceptional, collaborative, and highly structured competitive environment for all our participants. Because resources, venue slots, and event materials are allocated in advance based on registration counts, we enforce a strict policy regarding ticket cancellations and transaction refunds.

1. General Registration Policy

All ticket sales and registration fees successfully processed through our official portal (https://wth.archeridge.com/) are final. Once a transaction is completed and your participation slot is secured, the registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under standard operating conditions.

2. Event Postponement or Schedule Adjustments

In the event that the organizing committee must postpone, reschedule, or change the dates of the hackathon due to unexpected administrative constraints, logistical disruptions, or force majeure:

- Your registration will automatically carry forward and remain completely valid for the newly announced dates.
- If you are genuinely unable to attend the event on the revised dates, you may formally request a full refund. Refund requests in this scenario must be submitted via our official contact channels within seven business days of the rescheduling announcement.

3. Complete Event Cancellation

If the hackathon is cancelled entirely by the management without a rescheduled alternative date, all registered participants will receive a full, automatic refund of their payment amount.

4. Refund Processing and Timeline

Where a refund is approved or automatically triggered due to event cancellation:

- The return credit will be initiated directly through our integrated payment provider, Razorpay.
- The amount will be reversed back to the original funding source (the specific bank account, credit/debit card, or UPI ID used during registration).
- Please allow 5 to 7 operational working days for the bank processing network to reflect the credited amount in your statement.

5. Rejections and Disqualifications

If a participant or team is disqualified from the hackathon for violating the event Code of Conduct, engaging in plagiarism, or disrupting the system, their registration will be terminated immediately, and no refund claims will be entertained.

6. Support and Inquiries

For any payment discrepancies, double deductions, or specific questions concerning your transaction status, please contact our support desk immediately with your transaction reference ID.
